Keele Woods Closing for Compulsory Tree Felling

Due to an outbreak of Phytophthora Ramorum in Keele Woods all the Larch trees and the wild rhodedendrons need to be removed.  In order to do this as quickly as possible areas of the woods will be closed to the public for a significant period of time.  There is a map of the areas and the times they will be closed on the Parish Council noticeboards and it is also available here.   S-WA-003 Rev B Phytophthora Ramorum Zones

Phytophthora Ramorum Letter explains the reasons for the felling and includes an FAQ section.
